About the role:
As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will be a part of a team developing ways to accelerate computation in data centers. You’ll have dynamic, multi-faceted responsibilities in areas such as project definition, design, and implementation. You will participate in the architecture, documentation, and implementation of data center accelerators.
Responsibilities:
- Define architecture and micro-architecture specifications.
- Take ownership of one or more modules and implement Ready to Launch (RTL).
- Converge functionality and Partner Program Agreement (PPA) of design.
- Create simple test benches and debug complex logic simulations.
- Work with software teams on solutions. Contribute to design methodologies, libraries, and code reviews.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of industrial experience
- Experience in logic design and functional and Power Performance Area (PPA) closure
- Experience applying engineering practices (e.g., code review, testing, refactoring)
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2 years of experience in ASIC design and development
- Experience applying computer architecture principles to solve open-ended problems
- Knowledge of processor design, accelerators, and/or memory hierarchies
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
