About the role: 

As a Compliance & Operational Risk Framework Specialist, you will work with project stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities. Working within the program, the Framework Specialist is to communicate with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the program’s objectives and benefits.


  • Plan and facilitate workshops for internal audiences and producing updated framework Lifecycles and Standards as an output
  • Develop high quality presentations and documentation for use with the Business Unit and other stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management at all levels
  • Work efficiently with others to elicit requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate clearly and concisely
  • Displays knowledge of business analysis processes and demonstrate ability to document effectively
  • Supports the analysis of program risks and issues, adhere to change control processes and requirements traceability throughout the life of the program in accordance with established effective document management
  • Operates with a collaborative approach and actively support the team manager in successful delivery of the program

Candidate requirements:

  • 8+ years of Compliance & Operational Risk experience, within Financial Services industry and/or consulting.
  • Advanced writing skills for authoring business documentation in a simple and concise manner, ability to translate risk speak into business speak 
  • Preferably working experience of developing framework related documents for a large financial institution
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate business outcomes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the business, it’s customer related business drivers
  • Knowledge of Risk and Compliance domains
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk frameworks
  • Ability to solve complex problems using a range of techniques and good analytical thinking skills
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis
  • Strong Negotiation and Influencing Skills
