Data Scientist

About The Role:

This role will work closely with business intelligence, data products and data science teams to develop platforms that can help mechanize the deliverables that have a repeatable nature.

Responsibilities:

• Helping leadership identify common threads among work streams and identify the need for a platform vs product or project.
• Translating cross-functional business requirements into technical requirements to ensure platforms meet business needs.
• Architecting, designing, developing and maintaining new financial analytics platforms that provide solutions to both the COE and clients of the COE.
• Implementing new platforms that enable improved productivity and efficiency.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintaining financial analytic platforms such as OneForecast, Rapid Simulation Engine, Peak 2.0, Midas, Midas Lite, Knime, ThoughtSpot, Promo Investment Analysis platforms etc.
• Differentiating between build vs buy. Help leadership to make decisions on when to build vs buy vs customize for a platform need with details of ROI and benefits.
• Keeping the team alongside of the leading and innovating platforms in the industry.
• Partnering with AI&D to ensure availability and scalability of platforms.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML driven insights solutions for wider consumption.
• Experience in developing models and algorithms developing strategy for algorithmic experimentation and deploying in production.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Experience in supporting Analytics for Finance teams.
