About the role : 

The Director of Business Relationship Management (BRM) will partner with the business to share ownership for strategy and business value results for Republic Finance. This critical position will ensure IT is aligned with our business strategy and proactively translate business needs so IT can fulfill the business direction.

Responsibilities : 

  • Manage the Application and Process Integration team
  • Lead and influence business process innovation and the identification of new business needs that positively impact our customers and improve the customer experience.
  • Implement company IT strategy by providing leadership and vision of IT Services while balancing and coordinating the fulfillment of business needs.
  • Champion delivery and recognize opportunities to ensure IT provides value to the company in the relationship with the customer.
  • Promote business efficiencies and alignment through identification of opportunities to link programs, processes, and systems throughout the organization.
  • Ensure proper coordination and governance across the business continuously creating competitive advantages to the business both in service delivery and operational cost.
  • Translate business needs and issues into IT requirements and solutions.
  • Coordinate a wide variety of projects in support of the business.
  • Interact with Business Process Owners, Project Managers, and Business Analysts
  • Engage with stakeholders in IT, Executives, and various SMEs

Candidate requirements : 

  • Bachelor’s degree. Field of Study Preferred: Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role with overseeing major process improvement implementations involving large IT initiatives including previous experience with a Salesforce implementation or another CRM implementation. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Project Management or Business Analysis certification a plus.
  • Demonstrate a wide range of proficiency in IT systems (including CRM solutions) with a passion for technology.
  • Ability to adapt and lead change.
  • Ability to motivate teams through influence.
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization.
  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit or function, as well as with leadership and functional teams.
