Responsibilities:
- Data research and bibliography (internal and external).
- Interpret and synthesise well data and participate in the seismic survey.
- Ensures representative results / QC of well/seismic/design consistency.
- Participate/perform basin synthesis assessment, and/or generation and maturation of area of interest for CO2 capture in saline aquifers.
- Defines uncertainties based on knowledge.
- Contributes to the definition of prospectivity and resources in the context of exploration for CO2 storage.
- Participates in the preparation of presentation files to management as part of the validation process.
- Participates in the preparation of nomination or application files for the taking of the mining estate.
Candidate Requirements:
- Advanced expertise in 2G tools such as Sismage or Petrel.
- Advanced expertise in 2G basin synthesis techniques.
- Expertise in well interpretation, well correlations.
- Expertise in seismic attributes or stratigraphic interpretation.
- Expertise in North Sea, GOM, Texas, South East Asia is an asset.
