About The Role:

As Junior Project Manager – PMO Construction, you will report to the Head of PMO Construction and support the entire construction team in terms of regular reports, processes and digitalization. Furthermore, you will support the country cluster leaders in administrative activities.


  • Implementation and maintenance of processes and standards (e.g. handover process) for the entire construction department.
  • Preparation of regular standard reports and implementation of adjustments.
  • Cooperation with the development and operations teams regarding interfaces.
  • Preparation of presentations.
  • Supporting the implementation of a document management system (DMS for short) and assisting the construction team with all kinds of requests and problems that may arise when the DMS is running.
  • Supporting the “Digital Ambassador” within the PMO with all kinds of initiatives related to digital transformation and working with the Digital Transformation Team (in short: DTT).
  • Collaborate with RWE’s sustainability team to present the latest sustainability initiatives and support implementation within the construction team.
  • Organize (online) meetings and EU-wide sustainability activities.
  • Support the country cluster leaders (e.g. DE, FRA) with daily administrative activities (e.g. organizing meetings, taking minutes, HR issues, IT issues).
  • Support the local (DE) team in country-specific administrative issues (e.g. IT issues, PSA, SAP, induction of new colleagues).
  • Support in organizing team meetings of the PMO or the whole construction department.

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree in the field of engineering or renewable energies.
  • First experience in project management, ideally in the renewable energy business.
  • Very good analytical skills coupled with the necessary drive to implement projects.
  • Solution-oriented and independent working style.
  • Excellent team player with very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic project management skills, ideally in the renewable energy sector.
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken), other languages an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
