The sector is looking to recruit a future Technical Sector Manager, reporting to the Sector Director. He/she will be a member of the management committee.
The company has a fleet of 423 bus and coach vehicles, 550 employees, including 30 dedicated to maintenance, and a turnover of €34M.
Main responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory compliance of vehicles and goods in the sector
Ensure the safety of technical personnel (HSCT) in the sector
To provide expertise to the Directors of subsidiaries on the organisation of work in the workshops, the use of Group tools, Group policies on maintenance, supply and fleet management.
Advise and support the maintenance managers of the subsidiaries on work methods in the workshops, the use of Group tools and the implementation of Group policies in the area of maintenance; Ensure that maintenance operations and breakdown diagnoses are carried out correctly; Ensure that corrective and preventive actions carried out in the subsidiaries are appropriate
To manage and validate the recruitment of maintenance personnel for the sector; To participate in the evaluation of the skills and training needs of maintenance supervisors; To ensure that the skills and training needs of maintenance teams are evaluated; To define the maintenance training plan for the sector and ensure that it is carried out.
Substitute in the event of the absence of a subsidiary Maintenance Manager or Workshop Manager
Ensure the implementation of an adapted half-yearly maintenance plan for the fleet and the adequacy of the workload/resources on an annual scale
Supervise the activity of the maintenance teams and ensure that the Sector’s preventive and corrective maintenance programmes are fully implemented.
Skills and Requirements:
You have a technical background (3 to 5 years of higher education) and at least 7 years of successful experience in a similar position, supervising a technical team and managing a cost centre.
You are recognized for your managerial and relational qualities, your commitment and your dynamism.
You are rigorous and autonomous and have a good command of IT tools.
You will have a good knowledge of the energy transition field.
You will be expected to travel to all the subsidiaries in the sector
