Process Control and Automation Engineering Student

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings that require Process Automation support
• Work with other disciplines to commission new or modified equipment
• Assist in optimizing control strategy
• Work with SQL, Power BI, PLC software, DCS Control System software, and other Microsoft tools to develop dashboards for business teams
• Provide technical support to the Electrical / Instrumentation maintenance groups as required
• Assist in troubleshooting activities, and getting involved in developing solutions to chronic problems
• Interface with outside vendors to gain knowledge of new products and possible solutions which will benefit the company

Candidate Requirements:

• Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a discipline related to automation processing
• You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term
