About The Role:

Our Canada Gas Operations (CGO) Reliability Projects team is looking to add an Intern Project Manager who is an #EnergyProblemSolver to the team in Winnipeg. As an Intern Project Manager, you will be a key contributor to the management of facilities regulated programs to achieve reliable operation and continuous improvement of all assets located within TC Energy’s Canadian pipeline systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects for process safety critical equipment, including turbo-compressor equipment and auxiliary systems
  • Preform time and cost management of the projects, including budgets, schedules, managing project cost change control and variance report of cost scope and schedule and risk
  • Help project managers with record management and PDS documentation
  • Coordinate or direct the work of external consultants and contractors
  • Build PowerPoint presentations to communicate asset reliability opportunities for improvement
  • Create power BI reports to show project execution progress
  • Work with a strong and demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the environment, and quality

Candidate Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program, specializing in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least two semesters of education complete
  • Enrollment at an accredited University, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term
  • Exhibit a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
  • Must exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives: safety, responsibility, integrity and collaboration
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid work permit
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
