About the role : 

As Senior Sales Key Account Manager you are responsible for the acquisition, support and further development of assigned strategically important key accounts, buying centers and complex product and service portfolios (CDN, CDN Security, IP Transit&Peering).

Responsibilities : 

  • You are responsible for the entire sales cycle, from needs analysis to managing after-sales activities
  • You advise and sell products, services and complex customer-oriented solutions in a deal-oriented manner
  • You plan and implement measures for customer care/retention/recovery
  • You coordinate project/sales teams and departments and are the contact for the top management level for all contract and product issues
  • You represent work results to the higher management level and participate in projects

Candidate requirements : 

  • Independent and binding planning and control of new topics, also in the environment of virtual and/or international teams
  • Excellent knowledge of identifying and building customer contacts and maintaining customer relationships
  • Several years of well-founded experience in the technical management of virtual selling/bidding teams               
  • Many years of know-how in consulting and in the sale of products and services
  • Verifiable sales successes and a relevant industrial network are a big plus
