Signals -Electronic Specialist

About The Role:

You may be required to attend two weeks of training at the Railroad Education & Development Institute in Atlanta, GA. CSX will pay for travel, lodging and meals as required by collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
• Install and maintain signal control systems and computer equipment
• Direct others to locate, analyze and promptly restore signal facility problems at field locations
• Work from a computer terminal.

Candidate Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Approved electronic technician certification or equivalent
