About The Role:

Currently, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our Virtual Assistants Platform team. Through the technology passion of our team, the platform has grown from a proof-of-concept to a global platform used by all DPDHL divisions and millions of customers, and it now shapes the perception of DPDHL to our customers through state-of-the-art technologies. We are an agile team utilizing recent NLP and speech technology and delivering a truly global scalable solution used by millions of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Implement product advancements in our Virtual Assistant platform with best practices in mind
• Ideate, consult on and develop new product properties
• Investigate potential critical issues and determine appropriate actions
• Analyze end-to-end performance where needed
• Work with an enthusiastic DevOps team in an Agile environment
• Shares knowledge to other development team members.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in backend technologies, preferable Node.js
• Familiar with containerization platforms like Openshift or Kubernetes
• Mindset to deliver high quality and continuous improvement
• Quick learner with dedication and responsibility
• Good communication skills to explain your work to a non-technical audience
• Very good written and spoken English; we’re an international team
