About The Role:
The Sustainability Analyst is responsible for coordinating, collecting, and analyzing key information from different groups with the BU and the corporate teams to maintaining a portfolio view of everything related to GHG emissions and sustainability plans for the business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the emissions team to ensure ALL GHG emissions are quantified and readily available for reporting and progress monitoring (including forecasting ability)
- Coordinate with the commercial teams to ensure accurate throughput information is readily available for each asset (including forecasting ability)
- Ensure new projects and business opportunities are accurately incorporated into the forecasted views
- Coordinate with the Technical Services and other corporate teams to ensure most up to date information is readily available on abatement plans (specific projects including reduction scopes, timelines, and cost information)
- Bring all the different pieces of information together and develop a US NG portfolio view. Provide analysis of the portfolio level summary. Ensure all of this information is readily available on the BU GHG dashboard
- Identify new requirements as plans evolve and work with BU leaders to ensure systems, procedures, and processes are put in place to support these new requirements
- Coordinate with the corporate sustainability team and the energy transition team to ensure annual corporate reports include accurate BU specific information
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or technical diploma, in engineering, environmental sciences or related disciplines
- 3 to 5+ years of related industry experience
- Excellent people and communication (verbal and written) skills. This role requires a lot of coordination and therefore the ability to influence and lead teams from different groups to achieve common goals is critical
- Excellent computer skills – experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other Microsoft software packages
